black patten leather

Isn't this technique cool? It's called patent leather embossing, and can be any colour you choose! I demo'd this technique at my Stampin' Up! group the other night using Basic Black cardstock and stamped all over with Versamark ink. Next I covered the ink with clear embossing powder. I then set the embossing powder with my heat tool - check to see that all surfaces are shiny. If not repeat the embossing step again. When the card stock was dry I ran it through my new Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder
from Stampin' Up!

Beautiful!

The card design I *CASED from the new 2010/2011 Idea Book & Catalogue - available July 1st!
I love the new designer paper called "Newsprint" 'cause it's vintage! The butterfly is cut from the Beautiful Butterflies Big Shot die - exclusive to Stampin' Up!
The brad will be retired - but you should see the ones in the upcoming catalogue! Wahoo!!
Enjoy!

*CASED - copy and share everything
