This card is one my technique group worked on last night. Very pretty - and vintage! Our technique for this month is called, cracked glass. If you like to emboss, this is a fun project to try. To achieve this look, use the ink to paper method of applying Versamark ink to your stamped image until it is completely covered. Sprinkle on Glassy Glaze embossing powder, and melt with your heat gun.
It will take 2 or 3 repeats of the embossing before you are done. The next step is one you will be surprised by, and that is to place your embossed piece in the freezer for about 3 minutes.
Remove from the freezer and gently bend the card stock back and forth, and you will begin to see the glaze crack. So cool! (ha, ha).
If you wish you can take a sponge and add Chocolate Chip ink to the surface, rubbing into the cracks, then wipe off the excess with a paper towel or tissue.
Have fun, and have a great day!
