cupcake for my cupcake

Here's a really cute card I made for my daughter's birthday. Here is how......
This is the first time I have used my Stampin'Up! Big Bold Cupcake Sizzlet die. Using a piece of chipboard - I keep the 12 x 12 chipboard from the designer paper packs - run the die through the Big Shot - my couldn't live without it - machine. Then chose your card stock and designer paper for the cupcake parts, run them through with the die again. You could also adhere your paper to the chipboard first, then run through the Big Shot only the one time, which is probably easier I'm not sure. Anyway, I popped up the cupcake with dimensionals on top of a Whisper White Top Note layer, then added a button for the cherry on top - so cute!
The stem is hand cut from card stock, the leaves are cut using the Sizzlet die, Birds And Blooms. Tie some pretty ribbon around the "cup" and add a tag with your greeting.

Stampin' Up! materials used are:
Sizzix dies Top Note, Big Bold Cupcake, Birds and Blooms, Lots of Tags
Big Shot die cutting machine
regal rose, pretty in pink and whisper white card stock
designer paper
1/4" grosgrain ribbon in chocolate chip
linen thread
designer button
short and sweet stamp set
other:
argyle print paper

Any of the above Stampin' Up! products may be ordered through myself or my online store!
