I love this chipboard, So Tweet from Stampin' Up! It's sooo fun to play with!
Somewhere I read to use Modge Podge to adhere your paper to the chipboard which I did and it worked very well. I glued my designer paper to the chipboard owl, and then used my craft knife to cut around the shape. It needed a bit of touch up with my small sanding files around the edges which I did after the adhesive was good and DRY. You could also trace the chipboard shape onto the paper, and then using a sharp pair of scissors cut it out, then glue it down. You might still want to sand it a bit afterwards.
This little guy is covered in Good Morning Sunshine designer paper, and has Kiwi Kiss corduroy buttons for eyes. His branch is from a Sizzix die cut, Birds w/ Leaves & Flower also available from Stampin' Up!
The rest is Chocolate Chip and Kiwi Kiss cardstock, Chocolate Taffeta ribbon, and a wonderful owl print paper which is also one of the designs in the Good Morning Sunshine pack.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
