magic pastel technique
This is a technique that I learned from another demo, Karen Motz.
Pastels are not something that I reach for often enough.
I would like to share this with you as I was really impressed when I saw the demo.
You will want to stamp off your ink, as the image needs to be very light in colour.
When you have done this, take your box of pastels and dip into shades that blend nicely with your applicator. Apply each colour separately, in a circular motion.
I have used the stamp set Lovely As A Tree, from Stampin' Up! and I chose to use fall tones.
Now that you have applied your pastels, you will need to use a Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up your image as you are going to stamp right over top of that light image, using the same stamp and Basic Black Classic ink.
Voila! Isn't that magic?
Have fun with this technique - let me know if you have any questions
