just one more....

This will be the last "punchy" card for a while at least.......
To celebrate Canada's Thanksgiving weekend, I would like to introduce to you my punch turkey. The turkey idea is from this month's Stampin' Up! demonstrator magazine. I have made a card, but this little turkey would be fabulous on a place card for this weekend's dinner don't you think?
The punches required are the following. Scallop circle, 1 3/8" circle for the body, 3/4" square trimmed for the hat, 3/4" circle for the head, 2 - 1/4" circles for the buttons, double circle punch for the eyes, flowers from the boho blossoms for the feet, and a petal trimmed for the beak. Toooo cute!
To create the feathers: 1) Count 5 scallops, and fold that portion of the circle down.
2) Turn circle over, and fold in half to form crease in the middle for reference, then unfold.
3) Fold flat edge down from each side so folded edges line up with the middle crease (similar to the paper airplane fold).
Adhere the turkeys feathers to your project, and complete using the above punches.
Enjoy!
