Here is a simple valentine I made. I love simple - especially when you have sooo many valentines to mail! he he!
I was inspired by a card which was featured on Lasting Impressions .
My Cricut came in very useful for mass producing the hearts seen here. After cutting the red hearts, I ran them through my Sizzix using the Cuttlebug swirl template. My paper piercing tool was used to make the scalloped heart appear a bit lacy. I found some great patterned paper by Pebbles Inc. which I trimmed to 2" by 5 1/2". You could add some brads as I did, or not. Both looks are lovely - if you are adding the brads make sure you insert them before you ahere the patterned paper to the card stock. This way they will not show on the inside of the card!
Once you have used your adhesive to attatch the two hearts one on top of the other, you can use a pop dot to raise them, creating a more interesting image.
The greeting I used is a Clear Stamp which I purchased at Michaels last year. It is stamped with Real Red classic ink from Stampin' Up!
There you have it!
Stay tuned for more and have a great week!!

cardstock: Pretty In Pink , Real Red and Whisper White from Stampin' Up!
